Q: How many players can play Mission Zero?

A: Mission Zero is designed for 2-4 players, ages 10 and up.


Q: How long does a game take?

A: A typical game lasts 30-45 minutes, making it perfect for game nights, classroom periods, or quick sessions.

Q: Is it suitable for children?

A: Absolutely! Mission Zero is designed for ages 10+. The rules are accessible for younger players, while the strategy keeps adults engaged. It's an excellent family game.

Q: Do I need to know anything about climate change to play?

A: Not at all! The game teaches you as you play. The included rulebook and educational book provide all the context you need.

Gameplay Questions

Q: Can I play the same solution type multiple times in one decarbonization?

A: No, except for Nature-based cards. You must play different solution types, but you can play multiple Nature-based cards as long as they represent different ecosystems.

Q: What happens if I can't make any moves on my turn?

A: You can always draw a card. Use this time to build up your hand for future strategic plays.

 

Q: Can I trade Greenwashing or Funding Freeze cards?

A: No, Sabotage cards cannot be traded.


Q: What if we run out of Solution cards before someone solves the last Source card?

A: The game ends immediately when the last Solution card is drawn, and you proceed to scoring.
